Preservation Architect
A reputable preservation architecture firm in Herzliya is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for preserving historical buildings and structures, as well as a deep understanding of architectural techniques and principles.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research on historical buildings and structures to determine their significance and preservation needs
- Creating detailed preservation plans, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Overseeing the restoration process of historical buildings, ensuring that all work adheres to preservation standards and guidelines
- Collaborating with construction teams and contractors to ensure the proper execution of restoration projects
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all preservation projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture, preferably with experience working on historic buildings
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other architectural software programs
- Strong knowledge of preservation principles, techniques, and materials
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
