Formwork Specialist

As a Formwork Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing temporary structures and molds used in concrete construction. You will use various materials, such as plywood, steel, and aluminum, to create formwork according to project specifications. Your work will ensure the stability and strength of concrete structures before the concrete is poured.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to determine formwork requirements
- Measure and cut materials to correct dimensions using hand or power tools
- Assemble formwork components, including frames, braces, and ties
- Install formwork on construction sites, ensuring proper alignment and stability
- Pour concrete into the formwork and remove once it has cured
- Repair or modify existing formwork as needed
- Collaborate with other construction workers to coordinate tasks and ensure safety protocols are followed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Formworker or in a similar role
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques used in formwork
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans accurately
- Physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Alta, Norway
