Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Funchal, Madeira. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery to complete various construction and earthmoving projects. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month, including accommodation and free visa and ticket.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery according to safety standards and project specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other technical documents
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and clients

Requirements:

- Previous experience as an Excavator Operator preferred but not required
- Must be physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as project plans and blueprints
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese or Spanish is a plus)
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required
