Job Title: Turner - Braga, Portugal

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Turner to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to shape and finish metal parts according to specifications. This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine the proper machining operations
- Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, etc.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of metalworking processes and machining techniques
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Good physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and operate machinery for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade school certification or apprenticeship in machining or related field
- Experience working with CNC machines is a plus
