Carpenter Assistant


We are a construction company based in Porto, seeking a Carpenter Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. This job is suitable for men with or without experience in carpentry.

As a Carpenter Assistant, you will work alongside experienced carpenters and assist with various tasks related to the construction and remodeling of buildings. This is a physically demanding job that requires the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and shaping wood materials
- Carry and transport materials to job sites
- Help set up and dismantle scaffolding
- Operate various hand and power tools under supervision
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Follow safety guidelines at all times
- Complete tasks assigned by the lead carpenter

Requirements:
- Biometric passport (preferred)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (preferred)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Team player with good communication skills

Salary:
Starting at $1500 per month, based on experience.

Location:
This job is located in Porto, but may require travel to different job sites within the city or nearby areas.
