Construction Manager - Malindi

We are in need of an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage various building projects in Malindi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to effectively coordinate and supervise all aspects of the construction process from planning to completion.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure project success
- Monitor progress and quality of work on site
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Review and approve project plans, specifications, and contracts
- Negotiate with suppliers for materials and equipment
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding project updates and progress
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Construction Manager
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in project management software
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working on residential or commercial projects in Malindi is preferred

Salary: $900 per month

This is a full-time position that does not require English proficiency. Indian nationals are preferred but all qualified candidates are welcome to apply. This is a part-time job without accommodation provided.
