Excavator Operator



As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to move earth and materials at construction sites in Almada. Your main duties will include driving and controlling excavators, loading and unloading materials, and following safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate excavators to dig trenches, holes, or foundations according to job specifications
- Control levers and pedals to move the machine's arm, bucket, and other attachments
- Load and unload materials such as rocks, soil, and debris using the excavator's bucket or other attachments
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site
- Conduct routine maintenance on the excavator to ensure its proper functioning
- Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role
- Valid certification or license to operate heavy machinery in Almada
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy equipment for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination for precise movements of the machine
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to operating heavy machinery
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Compensation:
