Milling Machine Operator

The Milling Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts. Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information
- Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for each job
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed
- Perform quality checks on finished products using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Previous experience operating milling machines preferred but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and engineering information
- Ability to use measuring tools accurately
- Physical dexterity to handle small parts with precision
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Basic computer skills for machine programming and data input
