We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Funchal. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing various construction projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Your expertise in design, planning, and construction will play a crucial role in the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to building codes and safety regulations
- Prepare detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
- Evaluate bids from subcontractors and make recommendations for selection
- Monitor progress and update stakeholders on any changes or delays
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets required standards
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in civil engineering, preferably in the construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of design principles, building codes, and safety regulations
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in Portuguese (both written and spoken)
