Office Assistant
As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining office operations by coordinating communication, managing files and documents, and performing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls as necessary
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when needed
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems
- Schedule appointments and make travel arrangements for office staff
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of information
- Perform data entry and update records as needed
- Assist in organizing company events or meetings
- Other administrative tasks as assigned by manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Administrative assistant or Secretary are a plus.
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Attention to detail with good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Salary: 1500$ per month.
Location: Khasab, Oman.
Preference: Indian nationals preferred.
Visa sponsorship available.
