Preservation Architect


A reputable architecture firm in Shan is seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings, structures, and landmarks. Your role will involve conducting research, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on historical buildings, structures, and landmarks
- Create preservation plans that adhere to local building codes and regulations
- Oversee restoration projects and ensure they are completed according to plan
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, contractors, and preservation experts
- Assess the structural stability of historical buildings and recommend necessary repairs
- Advise clients on the best preservation practices and techniques
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the field of preservation architecture

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience as a Preservation Architect or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of historical architecture styles, materials, and techniques
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to historic preservation
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals
- Effective communication skills in English (Filipino language proficiency is preferred)
- Full-time availability without accommodation requirements

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position. Salary may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Location:
This job is located in Shan but remote work may be possible depending on project requirements.
