Entry-Level Accountant


We are in search of a skilled entry-level Accountant to join our team in Jerusalem. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1400$, and accommodation will be provided. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Review and reconcile accounts on a regular basis
- Report any discrepancies or issues to management
- Provide support for audits and tax filings
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Familiarity with Indian accounting standards
- CPA or other relevant certification
