Civil Engineer


A reputable construction company in Svalbard is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and assess project feasibility
- Prepare detailed project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines
- Design and develop plans for construction projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures
- Manage project budgets and ensure that all work is completed within established timelines
- Oversee on-site construction activities and provide technical guidance to contractors and other team members
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that all work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful project completion
- Stay informed about the latest industry developments and technologies to improve project efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a diverse team
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards in Svalbard
