Merchandiser

A growing retail company in Herzliya is seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction. Your duties will include monitoring inventory levels, designing displays, analyzing sales data, and collaborating with buyers to select products. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail merchandising, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment. Biometric passport preferred but not required. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Salary: 1500$ per month.

City: Herzliya, Israel.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in retail merchandising.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Biometric passport preferred but not required.
- Fluent English language skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with buyers to select products.
- Design attractive displays that showcase products effectively.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for product placement and pricing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to ensure successful execution of merchandising strategies.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Communicate regularly with vendors regarding product availability, updates or issues.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to ensure the best value for the company.
- Participate in store walkthroughs to assess display effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
