Fitter Technician



We are hiring a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Jerusalem. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various mechanical systems and components. This is a contract position with an English-speaking company, making it ideal for non-native speakers or foreigners looking for work in Jerusalem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Use technical drawings and specifications to assemble mechanical systems
- Install and maintain machinery and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and identify any potential issues
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in mechanical work
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Previous experience working on heavy machinery or industrial equipment
- Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Salary: 1300$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Jerusalem, Israel (open to foreigners)
