Housekeeping Manager
As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of housekeeping operations in our hotel. Your main goal will be to maintain a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests while also ensuring that our staff is well-trained and efficient in their duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel
- Train, supervise, and schedule housekeeping staff, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleaners
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all rooms are up to standard and address any issues promptly
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, making sure they are well-stocked and properly maintained
- Collaborate with other departments such as front desk and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the hotel
- Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Nepali is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Knowledge of housekeeping techniques, products, and equipment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends or holidays as needed
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Umm-Said (preference for Nepali candidates)
