Preservation Architect



A reputable architecture firm in St. Petersburg is seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation, restoration, and renovation of historic buildings and structures. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural preservation principles, as well as experience in project management and construction administration. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in preservation architecture, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $900 per month with the option of accommodation provided. Freshers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments and surveys of historic buildings
- Develop preservation plans and proposals
- Prepare construction documents for restoration and renovation projects
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project
- Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Review and approve materials used in restoration and renovation work
- Conduct site visits during construction to ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Prepare reports on project progress for clients or government agencies
- Stay current with industry developments related to preservation architecture

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of architectural preservation principles
- Experience in project management and construction administration
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility to travel for site visits

Salary: $900 per month

Location: St. Petersburg

Preference: Indian nationality preferred but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. English speaking job.

Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
