Junior Tiler

We are searching for a skilled and reliable Junior Tiler to join our team in Almada. As a Junior Tiler, you will be responsible for assisting our Senior Tilers with various tasks such as preparing surfaces, cutting and laying tiles, and grouting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in tiling and gain valuable hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Help prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and sanding as needed
- Assist with the cutting and laying of tiles according to design plans
- Mix and apply grout between tiles to fill gaps and seal joints
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with Senior Tilers to complete projects efficiently and accurately
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different tile types, patterns, and designs
- Ability to read design plans and take accurate measurements
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, lift heavy materials, and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and material quantities
- Must be a team player with good communication skills

Salary:
We offer a starting salary of $1400 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Almada but may require occasional travel within the city or nearby areas.
