Computer Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled, organized, and customer-focused Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Braga. In this role, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our clients, ensuring their computer systems and networks run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include installing and configuring software and hardware, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and maintaining accurate records of all support activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a passion for technology. This is a full-time position with an urgent need for immediate hire.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer systems, software, and networks for clients
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on various devices
- Identify root causes of technical problems and provide timely solutions
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in simple terms
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Reliable time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in relevant IT fields such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Experience working with remote desktop tools such as TeamViewer or AnyDesk
- Familiarity with cloud computing systems such as AWS or Microsoft Azure

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Braga, Portugal (remote work options available)
