Entry-Level Accountant
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an integral member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily financial operations of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks including invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor communication
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Provide support for any special projects or tasks as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems independently
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also taking initiative on individual tasks
- Biometric passport required for international travel if necessary
- Portuguese nationality or willingness to relocate to Almada preferred
Salary:
