We are a large retail store located in Eldoret, seeking a Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions at the checkout counter, maintaining accurate records of sales and transactions, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using our POS system
- Accept various forms of payment and provide change as needed
- Maintain accurate record of all transactions and reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns they may have
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this contract position. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers looking to gain experience in the retail industry. Preference will be given to Indian candidates who are fluent in English.
