Facade Designer
As a Facade Designer in Karachi, you will be responsible for designing and creating the exterior facades of buildings. Your primary focus will be on aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability while adhering to building codes and safety standards. Your designs will incorporate various materials such as glass, metal, stone, and wood to create visually appealing facades that enhance the overall design of a building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to understand project requirements and constraints
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction teams to follow
- Select materials and finishes that meet design requirements while staying within budget
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create 2D/3D models of facades
- Consider factors such as climate, lighting, acoustics, and energy efficiency in facade design
- Work closely with contractors during construction to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Continuously research new materials, techniques, and trends in facade design to improve processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facade design
- Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Strong understanding of material properties and construction techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Prior experience working on urgent projects is preferred
Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.
