Florist (Contract)


We are currently hiring for a skilled and creative Florist to join our team in Svalbard. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and other special events. This is a contract position that offers a salary of $1100 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and arranging floral displays according to client preferences and event themes
- Selecting and sourcing fresh flowers and foliage from suppliers
- Maintaining the freshness, quality, and appearance of all floral products
- Providing excellent customer service by understanding and fulfilling client needs
- Managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Florist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care requirements
- Ability to create unique and visually appealing floral arrangements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand client preferences
- Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines for events

Education:
A degree or certification in Floral Design or related field is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:
This job may involve standing for extended periods of time, lifting heavy objects, and working with sharp tools. Must have the ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
