We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed and promoted in an appealing and organized manner in various retail outlets.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular store visits to check on product availability, placement, and displays
- Build and maintain relationships with key retail partners
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional strategies and initiatives
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment
- Identify opportunities for product placement and displays to increase sales
- Provide feedback and insights on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity
- Ensure compliance with company standards for product appearance and brand image
- Train store staff on product knowledge and proper handling of merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales performance, stock levels, and market trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Merchandiser or relevant role in the retail industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Attention to detail with a creative eye for visual merchandising displays
- Knowledge of retail operations, product placement techniques, and inventory management
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This is a full-time job located in Malindi, Kenya. This is not a remote position.

Accommodation:
This position does not come with accommodation. The candidate must have their own housing arrangements in Malindi.

Visa Sponsorship:
We are open to considering candidates who require visa sponsorship. However, we do prefer candidates who already have their own valid work visa for Kenya.

Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is required for this position as it involves communication with English-speaking retail partners and customers.
