Job Title: Gardener (Contract) - Akron, Ohio, USA



We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team on a contract basis in Akron, Ohio. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through planting, pruning, fertilizing, and other gardening tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute seasonal planting and maintenance of flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other plants
- Monitor plant health and make recommendations for pest control or disease management
- Perform regular watering, weeding, and fertilizing to ensure optimal growth
- Prune and trim plants to maintain desired shape and size
- Install new landscape features such as paths, retaining walls, or water features
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, and hand tools
- Keep garden areas clean and tidy at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Gardener with knowledge of various plant species
- Strong understanding of gardening techniques including pruning, fertilizing, and pest control
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail for maintaining the aesthetics of outdoor spaces

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This role is based in Akron, Ohio but may require travel to surrounding areas.

Nationality:
This job is open to all nationalities. However having experience working in similar climate conditions would be an advantage.
