Sous Chef



The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and experience in a similar role. Responsibilities include:

- Assisting in menu planning and creating new dishes
- Ensuring high quality standards and consistency in food preparation
- Training and supervising kitchen staff, including scheduling and delegating tasks
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment
- Collaborating with front-of-house staff to ensure prompt and efficient service
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Portuguese nationality preferred)
