Executive Chef - Fine Dining
As an Executive Chef at our five-star fine dining restaurant in Ar-Ruwais, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive a memorable culinary experience. Your creative flair, strong leadership skills, and passion for food will be essential in maintaining the high standards and reputation of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop seasonal menus that showcase fresh and locally sourced ingredients
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain food cost within budget
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create special event menus and promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and plating styles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Proficient in menu planning, costing, inventory management, and budgeting
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Fluent English communication skills
Salary: $1100 per month (tax-free)
Location: Ar-Ruwais (accommodation provided)
