Civil Engineer


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various construction projects from conception to completion. Your duties will include conducting site evaluations, creating project plans, and overseeing the work of contractors and other team members. You must have a strong understanding of structural design, building codes, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site evaluations to determine project feasibility
- Develop project plans, including timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure project success
- Monitor progress and quality of construction work
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
- Maintain accurate records of project details, including costs, materials used, and progress reports
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in civil engineering or construction management
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and building codes
- Proficient in using AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience managing large-scale construction projects
- Familiarity with sustainability practices in construction industry

Salary: 1600$
