Civil Engineer


We are hiring a Civil Engineer to join our team in Utena, Canada or Kenya. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects. You will work closely with architects, construction teams, and government authorities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all necessary regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan construction projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water supply systems
- Analyze survey reports and maps to determine project feasibility
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor
- Develop project timelines and oversee progress to ensure deadlines are met
- Collaborate with architects to ensure that designs are functional and meet safety standards
- Obtain necessary permits from government authorities
- Supervise construction teams and provide guidance as needed
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Ensure that projects comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to construction projects

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job with the possibility of visa sponsorship. The location can be either Utena, Canada or Kenya depending on the candidate's preference.
