Junior Plasterboard Worker

As a Junior Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plasterboard in residential and commercial buildings. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in the construction industry. While no prior experience is required, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. We offer accommodation and visa sponsorship for non-local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with measuring, cutting, and fitting plasterboard panels
- Applying joint tape and compound to seal joints between panels
- Sanding down rough edges and applying finishing coats
- Helping with the installation of insulation behind plasterboard
- Assisting with repairs or replacement of damaged plasterboard
- Keeping work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- No prior experience required, training will be provided
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Knowledge of basic hand tools preferred but not required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work on roofs or high areas if needed
- Must have valid work authorization or be eligible for visa sponsorship

Salary: Starting at 1000$ per month
