Excavator Operator

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team on a contract basis. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials. You must have prior experience in operating an excavator and possess a valid license or certification.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator according to safety guidelines and procedures
- Inspect equipment before use and report any issues or malfunctions
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment
- Excavate and move materials as per project requirements
- Perform regular safety checks on the work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Complete daily logs and reports

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Excavator Operator
- Valid license or certification for operating heavy machinery
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for excavator operation
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
