Part-Time Interpreter


As a Part-Time Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretation services for clients in various settings in the city of Bergen. This role is suitable for candidates without experience or freshers who possess strong language skills and a passion for helping others communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person, over the phone, or via video conferencing
- Act as a cultural liaison between clients and service providers
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Research terminology and prepare for assignments as needed

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (preferably Norwegian)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with tact
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary

Salary:
Starting salary is $1800 per month with potential for growth based on performance.
