Office Assistant
An established company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Assistant to join our team in Mombasa. This is a contract position that comes with accommodation and visa sponsorship. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, have excellent communication skills and be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and organizing documents
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for the team
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and packages
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an office setting preferred
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy
