Sous Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Karachi. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including food preparation, menu planning, and maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess strong leadership skills, as well as a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and creating new dishes
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are consistently presented according to the restaurant's standards
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies when needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Proven track record of creating innovative dishes while maintaining quality standards
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required
