Civil Engineer
We are in need of an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Dickirch, Luxembourg. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects. Your role will involve conducting site investigations, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software programs
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to develop project plans and design drawings
- Conduct site investigations to gather information for project planning
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, labor, and other project expenses
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations throughout the construction process
- Oversee construction progress to ensure timely completion within budget constraints
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns or issues
- Manage project documentation including contracts, permits, and change orders
