Sous Chef
A top-rated restaurant in Herning is seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection and that the kitchen runs smoothly. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your creativity by developing new menu items and specials.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing and training kitchen staff
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency
- Develop new menu items and specials
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per week, based on experience and qualifications.
