Typesetter

A dynamic and detail-oriented Typesetter is needed to join our publishing team in Roskilde. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and preparing text and images for print or digital publication. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1600$ per month, plus accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format and layout text and images according to established style guidelines
- Collaborate with authors, editors, and designers to ensure accuracy and quality of final product
- Proofread and make corrections to ensure accuracy of text
- Convert files to appropriate formats for print or digital publication
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and software updates related to typesetting

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in typesetting or a related field
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or similar programs
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Knowledge of typography, composition, and design principles
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, publishing, or a related field preferred
