Head Chef
We are searching for a skilled and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Oslo. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working as a professional chef, with a strong background in European cuisine. You should have excellent leadership skills and the ability to effectively train and manage a team. As our Head Chef, you should also have strong organizational skills and be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement seasonal menus with a focus on European cuisine
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Oversee food presentation to ensure consistency and high standards
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations
- Manage kitchen budget, including labor costs and inventory expenses
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a professional chef
- Strong knowledge of European cuisine and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to create seasonal menus that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions
Salary: $1500/month
