Handyman



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handyman to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance and repair work, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. The primary responsibility of this role will be to perform various tasks related to the upkeep and maintenance of our building, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work.

Responsibilities:

- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, changing light bulbs, etc.
- Conduct routine inspections of the building to identify any potential issues or hazards
- Repair or replace damaged fixtures and equipment
- Assist with furniture assembly and installation
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed
- Handle basic electrical work such as replacing outlets or light switches
- Install or repair plumbing fixtures such as toilets and sinks
- Keep inventory of tools and supplies and report when items need to be restocked
- Communicate with building management regarding any major repairs or maintenance needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a handyman or maintenance role is required
- Strong technical skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions efficiently
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English (Bulgarian language skills are a plus)
