Architecture Manager
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Architecture Manager to join our team in Funchal. As the Architecture Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of architectural design and construction projects. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all necessary regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of architects and designers, providing guidance and direction as needed
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop project proposals
- Oversee the design process from conception to completion, ensuring quality and accuracy
- Review plans, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance with building codes
- Coordinate with engineers and contractors to ensure timely completion of construction projects
- Monitor project budgets and timelines to identify any potential issues or delays
- Conduct site visits to ensure that construction is progressing according to plans
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and technologies in architecture
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Architect or Architecture Manager
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards in Funchal (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
