Senior Database Administrator
As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's databases. You will work closely with our team of developers to ensure that our databases are efficient, secure, and scalable. Your duties will include creating and maintaining database instances, monitoring performance and capacity, performing backups and restores, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for developing data models and optimizing database queries to improve overall performance. Additionally, you will provide support to other team members on database-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in database administration, strong knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server or Oracle, and experience with data security and disaster recovery procedures. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. This position is located in Bergen and offers a salary of 1700$ per month.
