Sous Chef
We are searching for a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Braga. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and supervising the culinary team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of all dishes, as well as maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and passion for creating delicious dishes
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
