Office Assistant
We are a growing company in need of a reliable and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff, helping to ensure efficient operation and organization of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors as they arrive at the office
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and ordering items as needed
- Organize and schedule appointments for staff members
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry and invoicing
- Keep the office clean and organized at all times
- Assist with preparing documents, reports, and presentations as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Friendly demeanor with a professional attitude
- Previous experience in an office setting is preferred but not required
Salary: $1500 per month
City: Bayan (Preference for Kenyan candidates)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Visa Sponsorship: Not provided; candidates must have their own valid visa/work permit.
Accommodation: Not provided; candidates must have their own accommodation in Bayan.
Language Requirements: Must be fluent in English.
Experience Level: No prior experience required; this is an entry-level position suitable for freshers or those without previous experience.
