Tiler Assistant


We are a reputable tiling company based in Porto, seeking a dedicated and motivated Tiler Assistant to join our team. This is a contract position, with the possibility of full-time employment for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Assist lead tilers with preparing surfaces for tiling, including measuring and cutting tiles
- Mix and apply adhesives and grout
- Carry out basic repairs and maintenance on tools and equipment
- Clean and prepare work areas for tiling
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with lead tilers to ensure smooth completion of projects

Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary, as on-the-job training will be provided
- Physically fit, as this role involves heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be comfortable working at heights

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1200 per month. However, there is potential for growth within the company for motivated individuals.

Location:
This position is based in Porto, but may involve travel to various job sites within the city.

Preference:
While this position is suitable for anyone who meets the requirements listed above, it may be more physically demanding and therefore more suitable for men.
