Location: Khanpur, Pakistan


A reputable architecture firm in Khanpur is seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research on the history, construction materials, and techniques of historical buildings
- Evaluating the current condition of historical buildings and assessing the necessary preservation and restoration work
- Developing preservation plans and designs that comply with local regulations and preserve the architectural integrity of the building
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to execute preservation projects
- Overseeing construction work to ensure it meets preservation standards
- Managing project budgets and timelines
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and present project proposals

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect or in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of historical architecture styles, materials, and techniques
- Strong understanding of local regulations related to historical building preservation
- Excellent design skills and attention to detail
- Ability to conduct thorough research
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD
- Good communication and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on restoration projects for UNESCO World Heritage Sites
- Knowledge of sustainable preservation practices
- Familiarity with traditional building techniques such as masonry, carpentry, and stone carving
