Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the company's sensitive information and systems from potential threats. Your primary role will involve analyzing and implementing security measures to safeguard our data and networks.

You will be expected to have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, as well as knowledge of current threats and vulnerabilities. You must also possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.

Key responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Investigate security breaches and take appropriate action to mitigate risks
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and recommend strategies to prevent them
- Train employees on security protocols and best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that security measures are integrated into all systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies
- Experience with vulnerability testing tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Splunk or Wireshark
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- CISSP, CISA, or other relevant certifications
- Experience working with cloud-based systems such as AWS or Azure

Location: This position is based in Lahore, Pakistan.

Salary: $1100 per month.
