Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect in Vilnius, you will play a crucial role in preserving and restoring the city's historical buildings and structures. You will work closely with local authorities, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all preservation efforts align with local regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation measures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with local authorities, developers, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals
- Oversee the implementation of preservation plans, ensuring quality and accuracy of work
- Regularly inspect preserved buildings and structures to assess their condition and identify any maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of all preservation efforts, including reports, records, and photographs
- Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and technologies in preservation architecture
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and guidelines for historic preservation
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders
- Proficient in CAD software
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Historic Preservation or related field
- Familiarity with Vilnius' historical architecture
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Lithuanian is a plus
Salary: 1000$
