Typesetter

We are a publishing company located in Jerusalem and we are seeking an experienced Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for print or digital publication. You will work closely with our designers and editors to ensure the layout and formatting meet our standards.

Responsibilities:
- Set and arrange text and images for print or digital publication
- Ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with designers and editors to create visually appealing layouts
- Use design software such as Adobe InDesign to format text, adjust font size, color, and spacing
- Create templates for future publications
- Follow publication guidelines and specifications
- Make necessary edits based on feedback from editors or clients
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Familiarity with design software such as Adobe InDesign is required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills
- A portfolio of previous work is preferred

This is a full-time position, open to candidates of any nationality. We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month. No English language skills are required for this role. However, fluency in Hebrew is preferred.
