Preservation Architect


We are currently hiring a Preservation Architect for our company in Atlanta. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historic buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and maintaining their historical integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historic buildings to identify preservation needs
- Developing preservation plans and strategies to ensure the long-term maintenance of historic structures
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction teams to implement preservation plans
- Monitoring ongoing preservation projects to ensure compliance with historical guidelines and standards
- Researching and applying for grants or funding opportunities for preservation projects
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all preservation work
- Educating clients and community members on the importance of historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation or restoration work
- Extensive knowledge of historical architecture, building materials, and construction methods
- Familiarity with local, state, and national historical preservation guidelines and regulations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Salary:
$1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
Atlanta (Filipino candidates preferred)
