Excavator Operator

We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Faro. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of excavation equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This is a full-time position that requires prior experience in excavation, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to move earth, materials, and equipment on construction sites
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications to determine the scope of work
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed
- Safely load and unload materials using excavators
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Communicate with team members to ensure project goals are met

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating excavators on construction sites
- Knowledge of different types of excavation equipment and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception for maneuvering heavy equipment
- Physically fit with the ability to stand, bend, squat, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this full-time position.
